The best way to get it to grow faster is to keep it healthy. Try not to dye it very often and use too many heat products (blowdryer, curling iron, straightener). Deep condition it every month or so. Use a good shampoo and conditioner and not too many other products if you can help it. And keep it trimmed, at least every 6 months. Split ends will damage your hair and make it appear like it is growing slow. Also, any tiny knots you have in your hair will break off at the knot point if you use a curling iron or straightner on a regular basis.

more cutting will not help / it grows from scalp not ends. go and check out some extensions or sallys has some ponytail type ones. there are all kinds out there. no real true tricks just takes time. I know unfortunately. . been there done that!
