Any tips to thicken my hair?

My hair is so thin my scalp can be seen. Any one who knows about a shampoo or anything to help me? Help! Thanks!

Scientifically brush it and use a volumizing shampoo and no conditioner. To brush your hair start at the nape, and bending over, brush from back to front for 50 strokes, then flip your hair back and brush from front to back for 50 strokes. Do this at least twice a day, it stimulates the cortex and helps hair grow in thicker. A volumizing shampoo will help the hair look fuller. Using a conditioner usually weighs your hair down and separates it, so the thinness will show more. I have the same problem, but it's getting better.

One of my friends had the same problem. She tried Mane-N-Tail Shampoo and Conditioner, the type she used for her horses, and within 6 months she could see a huge difference. This was before they actually starting selling it on grocery store shelves. I'm not sure if the in store Mane-N-Tail products are the same as what she used to use on her horses so check both your local grocery store and also the feed stores.

You can also try some styling foams that will lift your hair and hold it up by the roots so that your scalp can't be seen. Dry your hair upside down with a blow dryer aimed at the roots for more body. If you have straight hair...go with a curly style that can be poofed.

While oil is not the elixir of life to hair, it IS essential in keeping it well conditioned and supple. Leave oil overnight and wash in the morning with shampoo to get better results.

Heat a little amount of oil (olive oil, almond oil, or plain old coconut oil) by placing it in a small container and swirling it in hot water. After the oil gets considerably hot, massage the scalp with your fingertips, in rotating motion, for at least 8 - 10 minutes. You can do this while soaking your feet in warm water.
