Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

As I'm saving for my college education I can't afford a hairdresser or anything but I can probably spare $20 or so for some good styling products. I was hoping to get some advice.....to start with, I plan on wearing a tiara but am undecided on leaving my hair all up or half up/half down. I have brown long curly hair (it reaches to the middle of my chest) and its naturally curly so I dont have the beautiful ringlets...lol...my hair is extremely frizzy and breaking in some places because its too dry. I tried to blowdry it to add volume which added to the bad condition I have now....its extremely thick too (has always been too thick for non-puffy ponytails) and hasnt been layered or cut or anything for over a year. my face is oval/heart shaped and I dont have any distinctive features besides blue eyes and thick eyebrows...my dress is red and strapless :) anyway, tips on good products and styles?

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

Get some Frizz-ease Serum (you can get it at WalMart). Also, figure out what you are going to do with your hair and practice styling it at least two days before the prom! DO NOT wait until the day of prom to decide what to do and try doing it!!!

After you wash and condition your hair, while it is still wet, you need to put some type of styling product in it - gel, mousse or spray. I think the Frizz-ease people have some new products, so look on the shelves when you go to the store.

Also, consider buying a magazine (any of the teen magazines right now) that have good hairstyle photos so you can get some ideas. You might also look online for "prom hairstyles" to get ideas.

Good luck and no matter what your hair does, have fun at prom! :)

(P.S. Remember to let the curls COOL before doing anything with them!)

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

Well missy listen up. I have some hair styles real cheap-o on the budget.

For straight hair- go to Target or Walmart and get a hair relaxer. Its the one with a black model on the cover $7 bucks. And it REALLY works! My boyfriend has nappy long curly hair and we tried it on him- it worked!

ightened, seperate a section from your face (like your going to cut your bangs) rubberband that section off. Now with the rest of your hair put it up in a high PONYTAIL(cheerleader high) Then with sectioned off hair rat it out for volume. Comb it out a little and pin it back with bobby pins-pompadour style. Like Gwen Stefani's.

I"ll edit aand add more in a lil bit!

Tips for styling my own hair for prom?

i would say wear your hair half up and half down, it would probably look best with a strapless dress and usually updo's are really tight and i don't like the look of most of them, they make your head look odd shaped...and that's just about the last thing you want after having to get all those pictures taken. find some products to put the "curl" back in your curly hair (shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner to help the breaking and dryness and leave-in styling product to bring curls back to life and reduce frizz) or straighten it or straighten it and then make sprirals with a spiral curler (conair has a good one you can get for like $20) don't blow dry your hair and make sure that when you rinse out conditioner you use cold water. try using products from matrix, catwalk, redken, garnier fructis, TIGI (curls rock). make sure to practice your hairstyle a few times before the big night! good luck!

Any tips on dying hair from platinum blonde to brown?

You don't need any. Just buy some brown dye and dye your hair. It's simple.

Any tips on dying hair from platinum blonde to brown?

Dying color darker is always easier and has a tendency to look heathier! Use a semi permanent you don't need any harsh products on your hair . sugestion try redken shades with the glosser.Go too a hairdresser and tell her what you read here and use the product i suggested.

i have hair that almost reaches my bottom and is black. i want to know how i can make it stronger, shinier and (the most important part) longer. i want to know a way by which my hair can grow faster and stronger.

Can any one give me tips to make my hair look really nice!?

For shiny and stronger hair, the garnier hair maque works really well for me. To grow it longer u can go and get ur hair trimmed, I've heard that it helps ur hair grow faster.

Get your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks to prevent split ends and keep it healthy.

Any tips on detangling hair?

In the shower, lather your hair with a detangling shampoo and gently work out the knots using a wide-tooth comb. I have some amazingly thick hair, and that method always works for me. Warning: try not to brush or comb your hair when it's dry - that's when stiff hair breaks.

Any tips on detangling hair?

my suggestion is go to parlor and maybe u rebond it or relax it ok merry x-mas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!n a blessed new year!!!!

Any tips on detangling hair?

after u shampoo, try to get access water out. than apply conditioner on ends. use your fingers and comb it thru. do not massage towel into hair after to dry. use a detangling solution. try your fingers after to detangle, and a wide tooth comb. spray in conditioner helps alot also.

Any tips on detangling hair?

Use that Infusium 23 leave-in conditioner.

Any tips on detangling hair?

Whilst you have put the conditioner on you hail comb it through with a wide toothed comb. Then after the shower a fine toothed one!

Any tips on detangling hair?

use detangling shampoo, conditioner or else when you get out of the shower use a wide toothed comb.

Any tips on faster hair growth?

a good diet will make your hair healthy, which includes shine, silkiness, softness, strength, and manageability.

vitamin e is good for the hair

it is moisturizing

and vitamin a

is good for the scalp

and healthy hair growth

protein makes ur hair grow faster than anything else because

hair is basically made of protein

so

eat eggs.. and dairy products

yogurt, milk, soymilk, and tofu are great examples

citrus fruits are also good for the hair.. and seaweed has a lot of vitamin a. vitamin a can be found in leafy veggies and carrots, especially. it is important to drink enough water to keep ur hair hydrated. 8-10 glasses is suggested for healthy hair growth. also, iron plays an important role in maintaining and growing healthy hair. iron brings oxygen to the hair, allowing it to breathe like us basically

(not the same way obviously)

and so if u dont take enough iron.. ur hair will be starved of oxygen and lose its shine, luster, etc.

b vitamins are also great for the hair. salmon, coldwater fish, and sardines are great fish that contain many of the vitamins hair needs.

i hope this information helped you!!

Any tips on faster hair growth?

Bathe your hair more often and your hair grows faster.

Any tips on faster hair growth?

from somewhere...i dunno if it works...but eating beans or legumes are good for hair growth

Any tips on faster hair growth?

Actually, if you wash your hair everyday it takes out all the natural oils from your hair, wash it every other day and the oils will keep your hair growing healthy!! Go out to the drugstore or hair supply store and get a moisterizing hair mask or conditioner that you keep on for like 20min.

MAYONNAISE works too for 20min and then wash it, if you're willing to try that! :)

Any tips on faster hair growth?

Get hair in a can!!

Any tips on faster hair growth?

if u wash ur hair it helps and destroys u in a way. yes oil will be extracted but the oil comes from the oil u put in ur hair. so do not worry. if u fell u need the oil... try applying some after bath. but do not do everyday coz u will develop extremely oily hair afterwards.yes certain vitamins 2 play an important part and so therfore i would advice u to eat food rich in vitamins and minerals.

Any tips on faster hair growth?

GIVE MORE TIME ON SLEEP IT WILL HELP U TO GROW HAIR FASTER.

Any tips on faster hair growth?

a lot of people swear by taking sea kelp in a supplement to promote healthy hair and skin

but only a good balanced diet and stimulation of the scalp eg head massage to promote healthy blood supply to the hair follicles can make your hair grow any faster

Any tips on faster hair growth?

USE EVERYTHING THATS CONNECTED TO SOYA BEANS

its got everything thats good for the hair. even bald men are adviced to stay on a soya diet. i bet it'll work.

try

soya shampoo

soya natural gels

eat a lot of them daily. once a day. dont over do it.

Any tips for fast hair growth? ive heard a few like horse shampoo and beer but has any1 tried these

Any tips for my hair style??

I got a bob cut now (with bangs). It's to the bottom of my ears.

And I'm pretty sick of just having it just be there. I blow dry it sometimes.. and I rarely straighten it. I'm not a little prep so I don't like to do things that will look cute. I want some wild *** style that will have me stand out. (oh yeah and if you have any ideas for the color that would be great too. just nothing to outragious for the color lol)

Any tips for my hair style??

I would say going with a ton of layers and just having fun with your hair, look for some fun ideas on line and mix a couple together! Here is something else you may have a lot of fun with, just put your picture on here and play with color and hair style. I love doing that before changing my hair style or for fun. But It sound like it would be really cute with lots of layers and putting your bangs to the side with a lighter brown in color. Here is the sight have fun! http://hairstyles.knowage.info/

Any tips for my hair style??

deep red? thats wild and not to outragous.

Any tips for my hair style??

i would do a slice of dark plum somewhere near the front of your hair. if you have bangs pull those back into an exotic clip or something, if you don't have bangs pull back the colored slice of hair. also you could try wrapping a folded bandanna around your hair as a head band.

you could also do a Marilyn Monroe type style, and curl your bob.

Any tips for my hair style??

Dying it red is good idea. Maybe you could also try curling it, like old 40's glamor style, that wouldn't look to preppy.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk wh

im not going to a salon. but i do not know how im going to go through with it. and.. what type of blonde dye to buy

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

okay. the only way to lift the brown out of your hair is to bleach it. "normal" people shouldn't bleach their hair at home more than one-two shades. so having lighter hair is a good thing for you.

get a bleaching kit, not blonde hair dye, because that isn't going to lift the color out of your hair. I don't bleach my own hair often so I'm not sure the best brands. Try going to Sally's and asking them.

if your hair has any red tones in it at all you're going to have to get some toner, also.

so go home and bleach the section that you want blonde and then deep condition it, cause bleach is harsh. ask yourself if it is as light as you want, if not bleach it again in a week (or maybe 3 days if you're impatient .. but condition it a LOT).

once it's as light as you want, you want to get rid of all the oranginess/brassiness. so tone it. and deep condition it again. keep toning until it's the pretty blonde shade you desire. and i can't stress this enough: CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION.

good luck %26lt;3

edit: however, i do recommend you seeking professional hair help. i know they're a lot more pricy than just going out and doing it yourself, but they're a lot less likely to screw up than you are.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

get it done professionally

try an auburn color instead of blonde

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

if you want your hair to be funky and modern, dye only the bottom layer, like you were going to. i was going to dye mine red, because i heard that you could dye your hair with kool-aid. it actually worked, but it wasn't as red as i wanted it to be. =/

if you want more information on dyeing your hair with kool-aid, got tp www.grassmoon.com/gratefuldyed

good luck!

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

Oh my god! Please don't use boxed bleach that you can buy from Walmart or affiliated stores! You'll regret it in the morning when you wake up bald! Please seek professionals for this one!

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

I'd ask someone who knows what they're doing to do it if I were you. If you can't afford it now, wait till you can or forget it.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

First off I wouold suggest going to a salon, reason being when it comes to something like this duotoned hair, I think a pro is yourbest bet. She or he will be able to determine if you natural is too dark, and they may need to ble ac h underneath first so the blonde will set the right way.

I actually have thought about getting the very same thing done. My mother is a colorist and stylist so I try to listen and watch but some times it can be very frustrating to understand completley.

Bottom line I think it's great that you want to experiment with your hair, just do some research like yahoo search for hair coloring tips. When it comes to darkier natural hair colors there are certain things that may need to be done in order to make sure that your color of choice is going to set right especially blondes.

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

As a pro it soundl like fun, but put a few highlights on top for balance . Please a pro can do better because you can throw away clothes but not your hair unless you want a pixie and can look good in one

Im going to dye the bototm layer of my hair blond. i have light brown hair. any tips? because idk what to do.?

If you have light brown i would go with light blonde underneath. I use Loreal Feria

Any tips on natural hair loss and re-growth treatments?

Someone once told be to brush my scalp back and forth a 100 times a day, to stimulate blood circulation. Does anyone know if this works or is it an old wives tail?

Any tips on natural hair loss and re-growth treatments?

I'm a believer of this myth. I does this every night and my hair is looking healthy and strong. Using your finger tip to massage your scalp is also one way to loosen up the pores.Try this every day or whenever your hand is free and you will see the improvement of your hair growth.

Any tips on natural hair loss and re-growth treatments?

brushing ur hair alot can really make u lose more hair, just massage ur scalp gentily and first of everything make sure that u eat healthy meals and that u dont suffer from anemia or something

Any tips on natural hair loss and re-growth treatments?

it'll stimulate blood circulation, but i'm not sure about hair growth. if you have the gene for baldness from your mom's side of the family, there isn't much you can do to stop it, short of trying Rogaine, etc.

What are some tips on growing hair long? how do you make hair grow faster?

This really works and is a simple, low cost and all natural treatment. I know because it made my hair healthy, thicker and made it grow tremendously fast and longer in a matter of weeks. Many people damage hair and scalp prevent hair from growing longer by using shampoos with harsh chemicals and ingredients and that can lead to all kinds of disorders and inhibit natural hair growth. Do a web search "shampoos harmful?" you will find many sites that confirm that. It is best to use a natural ingredients, chemical free shampoo. Tea tree oil shampoo or a mild selium based shampoo with a few drops of tree tea oil added are very good. To heal and invigorate scalp and hair you need to vigorously massage scalp with a pure natural oil -coconut, vitamin E and olive oil work well. Massage and leave on while you sleep - using an old towel to protect your pillow. It's even better if you combine with brushing. Vigorously brush 25 to 35 strokes every other day after the scalp massage. Do it vigorously enough to mildly irritate scalp. This will unblock hair ducts and remove dead hair follicles. Contrary to belief that hair brushing causes shedding and breakage, I regularly brushed with a palm held, quite stiff bristled brush. At start hair might shed a little and there might be a little breakage but hair will quickly get better anchored and stronger and that will stop. Your hair will be thicker, look healthy and develop a beautiful sheen.

Also over washing can inhibit normal growth. It de-natures hair and strips it of natural oils - causes it to thin and even causes premature graying.and hair loss( Do a web search - "daily hair washing harmful?). And dryers, perms, tints, bleaches, straighteners, tanning booths or sunlamps harm scalp and hair and inhibit growth. Getting plenty of sun is beneficial - a natural source of vitamins. Avoid going to hair stylists - many damage and ruin your hair.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I'm going to start cutting my own hair to save money. Any tips to make it look ok?

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I cut my own hair and every LOVES it. Thats why I'm gonna be a hairstylist ;)

But I'm a girl so I don't have any tips for you

Basically you just gotta practice, and watch a show like Shear Genius.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

no but good luck!

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

You have to be sure you use the right shape and size of pudding basin.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

i never pay for cuts- i layer my own hair (but i'm a stylist)...i also cut my fiance's hair....if i were you i would ask a stylist for tips on how to (b/c i don't know what your hair looks like or the style you want) good luck

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I dont see why not.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

hehe that made me chuckle! hmm i doubt it to be honest - but i do trim the ends now and again if they are split.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

cut it with scissors

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I'd recommend getting it cut professionally into a style and then trimming it yourself every month or so.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

My tip would be: don't do it!!!

Hairdressers train for years and even after that, many of them get it wrong!

You would be far better off to find a reasonably priced salon and go in for a trim every three months or so. If you cut your own hair and don't like the results - which is entirely likely - you will end up having to pay for a cut anyway to put it right!

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

If you've never done it before, I don't think going for an all out drastic new haircut would be a good idea. Since I'm not professional, I trim the ends once in a while, but I wouldn't dare try to cut my own hair because I can't see in the back of my head. So here's my suggestion: if you have split ends, great, trim them. But if you want a new hair cut, you can either go to a cheaper hair salon (like SuperCuts, HeadCutters or Lemon Tree), or you can try to see if you can find a stylist in training. If you have a BOCES center near you, that'd be perfect. These stylists only charge half price or less and they are supervised, so there's a very minimal chance of them messing up.

Hope I helped! :)

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I use a CCTV camera to look at the back of my head when cutting it

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I wouldn't advise you to hun.

It may seem easy to do the front but it'll be differcult trying to do the back and making it look alright.

Maybe if you have a friend/family member who would cut your hair for free, then you wouldn't have to worry about cost

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

I cut my own hair a few years ago from medium length to a jaw length (brave!!) bob!!! I had my hair as a short layered kinda crop a few years ago and have attempted it myself - it looks AMAZING!!! Real indie-rock hair, I LOVE it!!!! The best thing is that no body believes that I cut it myself, perhaps they are hinting that Edward Scissorhands did it!!! Go into boots, buy a pair of their hair dressing/cutting scissors for about 鎷?, a pair of their layering scissors (sold as thinning scissors) about 鎷? and if you want a choopy look like me, get a funny looking razor in the same stand/section for about 鎷?. That comes to about 鎷?0, they last for years!!!!! My short layered cost 鎷?0 five years ago and now I do it for FREE!!!! I also recently bought a book about cutting your own hair, gives styling and cutting advice and comes with free scissors and clips!!

Happy snipping!

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

buy some clippers and shave it all off ,thats the only way to cut your own hair. Try it with scissors and it will be all uneven and then you will end up at the hairdressers costing you money.

Is it possible to cut your own hair and make it look good? Any tips?

get some clippers and a couple of mirrors

My mother's old trick, which works very well on my course/dry hair, is to warm up some olive oil to body temp and apply to your hair like you would any other hair treatment. However, since it does stain a lot, you might want to wrap your head in plastic-wrap to avoid drips. We always let it sit on for at least 15 minutes, and then shampooed out with a mild shampoo. It leaves your hair silky smooth!

Any tips on making hair very shiney. I perfer to use a homemade products as to buying expensive stuff.?

the one thing that i found that made my hair shiny was to rinse the conditioner out first in warm water then in cold . also, there is a product that you can buy thats called zero frizz that makes your hair much healthier and very shiny

Any tips on making hair very shiney. I perfer to use a homemade products as to buying expensive stuff.?

I read this in this months January issue of seventeen and I tried it and it really works! First u boil 2 cups of water with the peel of 1 orange finely chopped. then remove from heat and let it cool off for bout 30 minutes. Then blend that liquid in a blender on low for a min. or so. Then add 1 tsp olive oil and 1 tbsp apple-cider vinegar. Add 1/2 of a RIPE avocado that's peeled and mashed and blend the entire mixture for 2 minutes until totally smooth. Apply to ur damp hair and leave on for bout 20 minutes. Then rinse out and do regular shampoo and conditioner! good luck with it!

Any tips on making hair very shiney. I perfer to use a homemade products as to buying expensive stuff.?

I suggest buying things for shinny hair instead of homemade. and for that scalp use :Nature's Gate tea tree daily cleansing shampoo for dry flaky scalps it is 100% natural you will find it at your local health food store.

Any tips on making hair very shiney. I perfer to use a homemade products as to buying expensive stuff.?

Homemade products that will keep your hair in tip top shape are avocado...leave in as a conditioner for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly...olive oil...use as a deep conditioner, wrap a warm towel around your head for 15 minutes, then rinse. If you are looking for a quick fix, there are organic root stimulator products called hair mayonnaise and carrot oil made by Namaste Laboratories. They work wonders.

Any tips on making hair very shiney. I perfer to use a homemade products as to buying expensive stuff.?

HAIR OIL. Seriously, it works. For the best place, go to a nearby Indian store, they'll probally have a lot of oil for your hair.

Any tips for greasy hair?

I've tried everything. Please don't suggest I stop washing it so often as this has not worked. I have tried various shampoos, I don't put conditioner on the roots, and eat relatively well.

Any tips for greasy hair?

I get the very same problem and it is a real nuisance! I do wash it every day in the morning but at it's worst it can be greasy by bedtime!

I do find that when I get my hair coloured, this dries it out which can mean it's not so greasy for a couple of weeks or so. I wouldn't recommend using colour frequently to treat this problem though as it will ruin the condition of your hair.

Sometimes, if you are using shampoos that are particularly astringent on the hair and strip all of the oil from your scalp, you can find that after washing, your hair works overtime to replace the oils.

Sometimes you can find that leaving it for a few days without washing can calm down any irritation and over-production of oil slightly so that next time you wash it, it doesn't respond so vigorously in oil production. I know this is hard to do but you can keep handy some Dry Shampoo in your bag for these days.

The brand of Dry Shampoo I use is Batiste and I swear by it - I always keep it in my handbag just in case http://www.ciao.co.uk/Batiste_Dry_Shampo... It's much better than baby powder as it's a fine spray of rice powder and combs through your hair better and can also leave it smelling fresh - they've recently launched a lovely Tropical scented one!

You are right to only use conditioner in the ends of your hair - it might be worth seeing if you can get away with only conditioning every other time you wash your hair and when you do wash, only use a small amount of shampoo.

I also find that avoiding using a high number of products in your hair after washing for styling as this can make the hair heavy and oily.

One product I do find that works well is Pantene Clarifying Shampoo followed by a really light conditioner specifically for people with greasy hair. If that doesn't work then I'd recommend a really gentle shampoo, use a small amount and see how you go.

Style your hair once in the morning and try to avoid brushing or combing again during the day as this takes oil from your roots and drags it through the hair encouraging your scalp to produce more oil again.

Make sure that you wash your hair brushes/combs/and styling utensils regularly so oil, grease, or product doesn't build up and redeposit on your hair.

Try to avoid getting too hot or wearing hats that make your head warmer unless it's cold outside! Sweat can make your hair greasy too.

Finally, try not to touch your hair at all if you can during the day, our palms are ever so slightly oily and even this can contribute to build-up in the hair.

Fingers crossed some of this helps and good luck!

PS! Be careful of recommendations for using fairy liquid on your hair. Although as a quick fix this will remove the grease, your scalp will respond by producing more oil to replace it meaning you'll end up in a viscious circle.

Any tips for greasy hair?

baby powder at your hair roots.

Any tips for greasy hair?

Baby powder. I have the same problem. Just a little bit of baby powder and put it in your hair after you wash it. It should help capture a lot the grease. Just be careful not to use too much!

Any tips for greasy hair?

YAH WASH IT!

Any tips for greasy hair?

ask your doctor??

Any tips for greasy hair?

Tip #1:Wash it in cleansing shampoo.

If that dosn't work than put baby powder in it.

Any tips for greasy hair?

Try to avoid daily washing. The sebaceous glands are overstimulated, secreting more grease onto the hair. This creates a vicious circle where the more you wash is the greasier it becomes.

Another problem with regular washing is that although the roots are greasy the rest of your hair is stripped of oil and the ends become dry and brittle. Use a mild ph-balanced shampoo and wash hair without rubbing the scalp too much. Only apply conditioner to the mid and ends rather than at the roots.

Watch your diet. Oily and fatty foods can contribute to greasy skin and scalp. Best of all is to use those days when you're at home to give your hair a rest from daily washing. Try using a children's shampoo as these are often mild enough for greasy hair.

Any tips for greasy hair?

Try washing it more often!

Any tips for greasy hair?

I heard that sprinkling a little bit of talcum powder on the roots %26amp; brushing it through will absorb some of the grease. I tried it once but it didn't work too well as far as I remember.

Just wash your hair every day %26amp; try not to touch it throughout the day as that will make it greasier.

Any tips for greasy hair?

Put an alcoholic astrigent on scalp and avoid greasy food

Any tips for greasy hair?

There are shampoos out there designed for greasy hair, try them. Also you can buy dry shampoo, which you spray on your hair to keep it fresh. A lot of top brands like charles worthington sell these now, and they also have scent in them, I think they might help your problem.

Any tips for greasy hair?

wash it once a day.

use a light spray conditioner.

your right not putting it near your roots. dont use conditioner at all unless you really need to.

dont use hairspray or moouse unless you really have to

dont play or touch or brush your hair unless you really have to.

and get pantene's clarifiying shampoo. i fine it works amazingly

Any tips for greasy hair?

washing up liquid, i really works try it.

Any tips for greasy hair?

wash it more often- you take out the grease

Any tips for greasy hair?

conditioner adds to grease, shampoo removes it. lol youve been doing it all wrong. wash your hair more. shampoo is the one that washes your hair, conditioner just detangles it. and you should only put it on the lower part of your hair. your roots normally dont tangle. and if your hair is still greasy, try baby powder. it absorbs grease. but not too much!

Any tips for greasy hair?

I keep several types of shampoo and change each time i wash, also only condition end of hair!

Any tips for greasy hair?

dont let many days pass wen u take a shower and scrub ur head right wit shampoo and rinse ur head really good wen u use shampoo n conditioner

Any tips for greasy hair?

Try POLYTAR you can get it from any chemist.Even Tesco chemist. Its a shampoo. Try it. Wash your hair every 2-3 days with it.

Any tips for greasy hair?

don't take this the wrong way.

washing up liquid will help and i used it, when i was in my teenage greasy hair stage,

after discovering the local salon was using watered down fairy-liquid.

honest, it works fine, just don't over do it.

:)

Any tips for greasy hair?

I forget the brand, but theres this powder called "Shower %26amp; Shower" in a blue/teal bottle. Put that in your hair, or try Aussie Dual Personality Shampoo Root Cleanser + Tip Mender. It dries out all of your hair and doesnt moisturize the tips, despite what the bottle says

Any tips for greasy hair?

I recomend Tresemme, I use it and it works very good!

If not ask the hairdressers. Or check out some websites they should have tips.

Hope that helped. x

Any tips for greasy hair?

Get a crew cut!

Any tips for greasy hair?

Dont scrub your scalp as this encourages your glands to produce more oil, wash it gently with a shampoo for greasy hair and apply a small amount of conditioner to ends only. Dont run your fingers through your hair as this produces oils. Avoid rubbing your scalp for same reason. When hair is dry do you use any product on it for straightening/ curling etc? Serums are also oily and if you apply more then needed they will also make hair greasy.

Any tips for greasy hair?

Put alittle bit of Baby Powder at your roots but if you put to much it will look like dandruff.

Any tips for greasy hair?

once a week wash it with washing up liquid!! i know people say its bad for your hair i dont agree nothing strips excess oil and dirt out of hair better.

Any tips for greasy hair?

stop dipping your head in the chip pan

Any tips for greasy hair?

Does anyone know tips on black girls hair to make it grow?

the only way your hair will grow at a normal rate is if your healthy, like getting enough sleep at night, eating healthy, %26amp; taking vitamins like a %26amp; c. not doing things that will ruin your body like smoking %26amp; drinking. i noticed this when i started excerising %26amp; eating better, my nails even grew a lot faster. hair products that say your hair will grow faster will only ruin your hair like hair-dye. the only thing you can do is make your hair healthier by taking care of it. don't listen to any of these people who say they can find a product that will will increase the growth because like i said it will ruin your hair causing it to have damange, then it will never grow. no matter what color your skin is!

Does anyone know tips on black girls hair to make it grow?

It's all in the genes. Some people's hair grows fast and others will not. To encourage growth and avoid breakage, you need to keep your hair well-conditioned. Avoid using hot curling irons, blow dryers and a lot of chemicals in your hair. If you decide to use a relaxer, let a professional do it and be sure to condition it often. A good, inexpensive conditioner to use at home, is the mayonnaise brand. Pay special attention to the ends of your hair because that is where it tends to break off. At night, you can use an oil pomade (one like Castor oil) on the ends of your hair, and cover it with a silk or satin scarf to keep it from getting tangled. Always comb your hair with a wide tooth comb to avoid breakage. Our grandmothers had very shiny, longer hair years ago and that is because they didn't use all the chemicals we do nowadays. Also, they used the oil or pomade on their scalps and it kept their hair from being dry. Despite what the hairdressers say, about greasing you scalp or hair, I find that works as long as you don't plaster your hair with so much that it looks or feels greasy.

My sisters hair used to break off, but she started deep conditioning it. She would cover her hair in conditioner (not forgetting the roots), then put a shower cap on for 15 minutes. Wash it out then put in a leave in conditioner. It really helps. Also, put some olive oil on your hair and get under a dryer for like 10 mnutes.. It's helped mine grow

Try Biotin; it's a vitamin supplement.

Does Anyone Know Some Good Tips 4 Hair Growth???

Washing, conditioning, and keeping your ends trimmed will help with growth. Also, try not to put too much heat on it; You can wrap it at night. As far as growing the hair, of course it won't grow overnight, but there a products that will help. Dr. Miracles has a stimulating growth oil that's good, and I've also heard that Wild Growth hair oil is good also, as well as Doo Gro. On last thing that would help is to give your hair a rest from styling, especially with heat. Try getting a sewn in weave or braids. Hope this 411 helps!

Does Anyone Know Some Good Tips 4 Hair Growth???

Aside from trimming it, regularly conditioning it, massaging your scalp, etc., one BIG thing you could/should do is be conscious of what you're putting on your hair/scalp. Are the products you're putting on your hair/scalp NOURISHING to your hair/scalp?

I read you said you already 'grease it'? In my opinion, that's a problem, depending on what you're using to do that. Probably 9 times out of ten, the "grease" you're using has petrolatum/mineral oil ("paraffinum liquidum") in it. This ingredient is nothing but a cheap filler (not only that, but it's a byproduct of gasoline) that provides a coating you may confuse for moisture, and it just clogs your scalp's pores. So you're not helping yourself, rather, hurting objective because you're preventing ingredients [that have the potential to promote hair growth] from being absorbed into your scalp. By the way, this goes for skin care products as well. Petrolatum/Mineral Oil (paraffinum liquidim) are no-no's if you want some TRUE results. Or else you'll just have a coating/film that you mistake for softness and moisture.

Do an ingredient check on the products you have to see if you're causing yourself some extra drama.

After that's out the way, proceed with the activities i mentioned above, making sure you give yourself a good deep conditioning every once in a while, and a protein treatment every so often as well, to strengthen weak, brittle hair.

Massage your scalp witha good oil (Like Hot Six Oil, or even your typical Extra Virgin Olive Oil) that does not have those bad ingredients and try to get a hold of some Rosemary essential oil to mix in with the oil. Rosemary stimulates hair growth.

And if you get them, you might want to lay off of chemical treatments for a while so your hair can rest/recover/rejuvenate as you learn how to take care of it all over again.

Hope that helps!!!

What are some tips so that your hair grows faster?

No matter what anyone says-THERE IS NO MAGIC PILL OR DIET THAT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW FASTER. Hair grows on average of half an inch per month. YOUR hair will grow at the rate it grows and nothing will change that. The best thing you can do is keep your hair healthy and create a healthy plateau (your scalp) for hair to grow on. Many, many shampoos contain laurel sulfate or laureth sulfate. These ingredient dry your hair. Other shampoos contain harsh detergents. I just conditioner wash (just use conditioner and skip shampooing) every couple of weeks. I deep condition once a month. Try and stay away from heat. That's it. Be patient. If you are constantly looking at hair growth, it will seem to grow slower and slower. I know it's hard, but try not to think about it. Another thing is to eat healthy and get your eight to ten glasses of water a day. This will help grow hair that doesn't split or break (which is important for long strands). The less you do to your hair, the better.

What are some tips so that your hair grows faster?

Hair growth depends on various factors. First and foremost you got to keep it clean. Then How you style your hair. For example if you make tight plaits, then chances that hair may break. Also don't keep tight slides or clips. Do not brush your hair with hard tooths. Also don't brush if tangle is there. Pl do not wash your every day. You can wash your hair may be about 3 times a week. Also ensure to have reguler hair cut. This is very very necessary. Don't go for long cut. Just 1/2 inch trim will do. Before you got for hair cut, please wash the hair first, Dry out then neatly for for hair trim. Before washing please apply oil and massage and keep for about for 1 hour or so. Also take lot of vitamins and vegetables and fruits. Good look. Enjoy long hair.

What are some tips so that your hair grows faster?

I'd like to grow out my hair ... any tips on making it grow faster?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

The best product that I have found is Aussie Scrunch Spray. It is the best stuff and smells great! I usually scrunch my hair with the towel and then let it air dry for about fifteen minutes. Next, you spray the Aussie spray all over your hair. Then, you flip your head over and scrunch your hair with your hands. Do this until you can feel the spray sticking to the curls. Never brush or run your fingers through your hair. It causes the curls to seperate and become frizzy. This is just a tip that works great for my hair. But, remember not all hair types do the same things.

Tips for scrunching hair...?

It sounds like you are doing it right...try use the hairspray call Freeze It. It works really good!

Tips for scrunching hair...?

Don't use hairspray. It's filled with alcohol and it makes it frizz. Try a serum, like frizz ease and then try a gel and mousse.

Tips for scrunching hair...?

Try using Ausie Scrunch Spray instead of hairspray and remember to scrunch and dry upside down. Good luck. It took me years to perfect my scrunch!

Tips for scrunching hair...?

i usually put moose or hairspray in my hair after washing it at night while its still real damp. put your hair into little sections and twirl them around your finger. if you secure them with ponytails, they'll stay through the night and in the morning take them out and finish with a little hairspray. works for me :)

Tips for scrunching hair...?

MOOSE, SCRUNCH, GEL, SCRUNCH, HAIRSPRAY, BLOWDRY %26amp; SCRUNCH.... WORKS FOR ME!

Tips for scrunching hair...?

i have the same problem but really thin hair that doesnt scrunch. you seem to be doing it right.

Tips for scrunching hair...?

Try 'Surf hair', I think its from Bumble and Bumble, and is a gel. Just use a dallop. It works great!

I twist my partially dried hair into spirals. Then come up from the bottom with a diffuser, kind of scrunching it into the diffuser until its dry. Best when you tilt your head to the side and upside down.

The other key is to always use the diffuser from the start. I used to do a partial blow dry before adding the diffuser, it does not work as well.

No hairspray needed!!!

good luck!

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

I have naturally dark brown ( almost black ) hair that's about 30% grey. I have been coloring over the grey for many years. Is there any good way to let the grey come in gracefully? I tried having it highlighted to transition the grey in but I thought it just made me look like a calico cat. The espresso brown I use now is pretty, but someday I'll just end up looking like an old lady who dyes her hair.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

have you tried getting lowlights. Get some strands coloured as dark as your natural, reverse highlights and then the grey won't show as much it you can gradually get your hair grey with less of a contrast. a lot of women and even me n have been using this method when they beign to go grey.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

The easiest color that I use at home is henna, which you can get in most shades.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

I don't think that there's other way.I think either keep coloring your hair or just let them be.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

The one thing you might think about is going to a slightly lighter color. Each time you color your hair, go slightly lighter. This will gradually bring your color closer to the (gray) lighter color you have coming in. Also, a lighter color softens your face as you do grow older. It doesn't look as harsh.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

The trick I've heard of is, as you age, go to a slightly lighter shade. My daughter, a hairdresser, estimates that I'm about 70% or more gray. We both think gray will only leave me with a washed out appearance. I think dyed hair can be attractive as long as the color is suitable and the cut is complementary.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

Go to Paul website.

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

First of all I would sug. going to a salon. Do not attempt box colors on your own.

Second explain to a prof. what it is your trying to achive.

Third of all Get hilites and lowlites. By this I mean one lighter color and one that matches closer to your natural. Have the prof. hilite with a level that isnt too dramatically lighter than natural color. For instance dont use platnum blonde if your hair is black.

Alternate hilite weave, leave natural, and lowlite weave on entire head. A weave is when the hair section to be foiled is broken up not solid. To do this you use a pintail comb and just catch small pieces of the hair to be colored in a catch leave patern. Good luck!

Does anyone have some tips on hair coloring?

low lights are alot easier to trasisition the gray back in

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not

don't brush them after you shower ...you can use a shampoo extra for curly hair ...and use a conditioner they are really good let it work for one or two mins and the wash it out and when you blow dry your hair use one of the big tops for your hair dryer and only got threw with your fingers and there are alot of anti-frizz sprays they help too but what is really good is a cream for curly hair that makes the curls really cute ... .well hope it helped ...tc

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not too big?

Do not brush your curls at all. it makes them frizzer, just finger comb through and let it air dry. As for wavier curls you have to straighten then use hot rollers, theres no way to pull out the curl otherwise.

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not too big?

My daughter has super curly hair, so I run my finger through it when it's wet with a bit of Frizz-Ez, then add a little leave in conditioner with my fingers or a wide tooth comb. It seems to work.

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not too big?

after u brush your hair put mose in it and let it air dry

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not too big?

i actually have hair like yours. it's more wavier curl than tight ringlets. my hair is very hard to brush or comb through, especially after a shower. i bought some bio-silk hair products. they have this thing called a hair serum, and i put it in my hair after showering and i can actually comb through it. and yes, you can comb through your curly hair after a shower, i wouldn't suggest a brush though. right after combing your hair, run some mousse through it or some hair gel. then scrunch your hair. this is what i do and my curls look like curls but not real big ones and my hair never looks puffy.

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not too big?

no maybe you should try using gel in your hair...put it in right after you shower.

Should you brush your hair after you shower if you have curly hair? any tips for wavier curls?so not too big?

either brush it through with your fingers or use a wide tooth comb and then let it air dry. if u put a little frizz ease or gel it will really help.

no use a pick or use your fingers

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

The process may be long, but, it works great.

1) Start by washing your hair with your favorite shampoo or conditioner in the shower. You can also try straightening shampoos and conditioners. I know brands like John Frieda, Biosilk and Herbal Essences carry them.

2) Towel dry your hair for about 15-20 minutes. When about 15, 20 minutes is up, shake your hair around with your hands and grab a comb.

3) Comb out your hair for a couple of minutes. You can use a light detangling spray if desired.

4) Now it's time to blow dry. Keep the blow dryer at least six inches away from your head and do not direct the flow of air to one section for longer than a few seconds at a time to prevent overheating the hair. Comb your fingers through your hair while drying to keep hair from tangling. Do this until your hair is about 80 percent dry.

5) Apply a light straight styling cream or spray to your hair. Brands like Pantene and Sunsilk have straightening styling products for all hairtypes.

6) Separate your hair into three to four sections. Clip all hair up, leaving one section down to dry. If you have very thick hair, you may need to separate it into more sections.

7) Use a paddle brush (flat and wide brush) for a straight hair style. Brush your hair while continuing to dry hair with the airflow directed downward until each section is dry. Start drying with hot air first, then when almost dry, use cold air. The heat opens the cuticle, which helps to style the hair and the cold air locks the set.

8) Use a flat iron on your hair. If you do not have one at home, Conair carries cheaper ones and CHI carries more high-end, expensive ones. I recommend the CHI, I have one at home and it works wonders. It will even last you about 10 years or more! Before flat ironing, make sure your hair is 100% dry. Using a flat iron on wet hair isn't successful. Read the packaging of your flat iron, and set the flat iron at the appropriate temperature. Carefully look over the instruction manual. Use the flat iron on 2-inch segments of hair at a time. Place the flat iron near your scalp and steadily move the flat iron toward the tip of your hair. Repeat until you have straightened all of your hair.

Good Luck with school and curl-free hair! =]

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

buy a really expensive hair straigtener. or blow dry it, it sounds weird but blowdrying is better than a flat iron.

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

Spend a lot of time straightening in the morning.

Divide you hair into 3 layers, straightening from bottom to top, spening about 10-15 minutes on each layer.

Finish with some hairspray, and you are ready to go!!

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

i have to same problem :[[

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

Hairspray, or use what I use, " Garnier Fructis" sleek and shine weightless antifrizz serum!!!!!!!!

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

my hair is wavy and i straighten my hair almost everyday, i use Babyliss Pro 1 1/2' Ceramic Vented Flat Iron. its a gray color........i also have a product to smoothen my hair, its called aveda hang straight....thats a white bottle with a green square in the middle of the bottle. it really does work

Tips to keep hair SUPER straight for school lasting 6 hours !?

Why straight? I'll give you tips for both its a gurl thing. for straight hair u need an expensive hair staritener blow dryer and a vent brush. First take about a 30 min shower. Blow dry hair. Then Starighten. Use vent brush to take out knots and to add a flip.

Or try using shampoo that has 70% to staighten your hair. then use conditioner that has all the treatments use vent brush and no blor dryer if u have thick hair thiner hair use blow dryer.

P.S. bring a brush to school so when at your locker you can brush your hair.

Tips to make hair shinyy?

thanks! oxox. No home-made recipies worked on me.

Tips to make hair shinyy?

Your hair will be a lot healthier if you don't wash it every day. The natural oils are best for keeping your hair in good condition. But, if you use a lot of styling products on your hair, and feel the need to wash it every day, use a gentle shampoo, lather once, and rinse well. Use a good conditioner, but try to keep it a couple of inches away from your scalp, concentrating on the ends of the hair. Final rinse, cool/cold water. Towel-dry it gently and let it dry naturally if you have time. I use a silicone-based repair and shine product (Like SunGlitz) which brings out the shine and protects your hair. And finally, COMB your hair out if it's wet/damp, don't use a brush.

Good old Vo5 once a week helps keep your hair moisturized, too!

Good Luck!

:D

Tips to make hair shinyy?

A guy friend of mine says wash it in cold water. Maybe he was jerking my chain. Wash your hair less, the natural oils from your scalp will do the trick. It'll help your hair grow a lot faster too.

Tips to make hair shinyy?

You should rinse it in cold water and don't use hot water. Towel dry it before you blow dry it and don't blow dry it all they way. Do flat iron of curl it either that gives you hair frizz.

Tips to make hair shinyy?

Hi

I find that darker hair seems to be easier to get looking shiny than lighter colours.

I have a shine spray by tigi that works well - it smells great too comes in a pink bottle so have a look for that 1!

Also use a good repairing style conditioner on your hair that will improve shine.

Flat iron to get it smooth apply some serum and then the shine spray.

Tips to make hair shinyy?

use shiny hair spray! -but not too much! it could make your hair look oily, which is so SO ugly.

Tips to make hair shinyy?

my mom, sister and aunt does hair what they i use this stuff called aplleblossem hair spray DO NOT PUT IT ON THE TOP OF UR HEAD! cause if u do it will look greese!

Tips to make hair shinyy?

You can get certain kinds of shampoo that are sleek and shine....Some gels are also for that kinda thing to just go to Shopko, Walgreen's, target etc..and look at the hair products I'm sure you'll find something!

Tips to make hair shinyy?

wen u wash ur hair take a lime and squeeze it on ur hair and wash it in w/ ur shampoo

Tips to make hair shinyy?

well i use a spray that really works, but you cant use alot cuz that will make it greasy but this stuff is the best. the brand is ag spray varnish high voltage shine. ive never heard of it but my stylist sugested it to me. try your local stylist or any drug store if that fails then try going to the parlour.com and if that fails to then just post a coment for me and ill try sending the product to you.

HOPE THIS HELPS A WHOLE BUNCH! GOOD LUCK!!!

p.s. this is the best stuff in the whole wide world!!!!!

Tips to make hair shinyy?

Make your final rinse with: apple cider vinegar, distilled water (1 to 3 ratio) that is ice cold. set it in the fridge until it's cold. the vinegar and cold water will seal the hair cuticle and lay it flat - so it will look shinier. plus the vinegar is pH perfect for the scalp %26amp; distilled H2o does not have chemicals that regular H2o does (that lay on the hair %26amp; dull the shine). Honest.

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

No matter what I use on my hair it still looks messy and frizzy, even when I straighten it. Are there any tecniqes for styling my curly hair or are there any products I can use?

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

Hi. Straightening hair in hot weather is like keeping clothes from being wrinkled. That just wont work. So thats not a viable option. I used to do that, but I let my hair stay curly. The products on the market dont do much for moisture. Frizzy hair is a sign of dryness, which is lacking moisture. They have lots of harsh chemicals that just dont do anything for hair. You should go for more natural products that have less chems/no chems/100% natural. Here are some websites for curly hair you can take a look at:

www.curls.biz - I currently use this.

www.honeyfig.com

www.janecartersolution.com

www.curlicious.com

www.johnmasters.com

www.aubreyorganics.com

www.longlovelylocks.com

www.jessicurl.com

www.blendedbeauty.com

www.kinky-curly.com

Take a look at them. Also look at their faqs and tips. You will get great info too. Only shampoo your hair 1x/week on your scalp, not all over hair or it will dry it out! If hair is dirty, use conditioner instead to wash it out. This will moisturize hair and clean it at the same time. To tame down frizzies while washing, put hair into some big loose braids, apply shampoo to scalp, gently rub, wash out, then loosen each braid. Apply conditioner to braid, smooth out tangles and fingercomb, then braid back. Do to all other braids and then wash out. DONT MANIPULATE YOUR HAIR ALL OVER, YOU WILL TANGLE IT AND CAUSE FRIZZIES! Just run the water through your hair and squeeze braids until shampoo/conditioner washes out. Tip: If you want, you could leave a little conditioner in your hair to keep that soft feeling. This video is on www.growafrohairlong.com. Its called the shampoo method, there is a video, its good for anyone. This tames my hair before I style it.

DONT USE A TOWEL TO DRY YOUR HAIR OR FRIZZIES WILL COME! Squeeze out some water, but not all of it. Apply a moisturizing custard cream to your hair ( I use the whipped cream from curls.biz) and spritz some leave-in conditioner to your hair. Depending on your hairstyle, you can leave it out, braid it back and then loosen it later, or whatever you want. Dont blowdry your hair. Air dry. Its safer and will set your hair better. You should also get something for when your hair is dry that will moisturize your hair and give it shine, since you could only use the custard cream when hair is dripping wet. You dont want to wet your hair all the time, do you?

I hope this helps you. Maybe a good deep conditioning treatment 2x/month will do your hair good. Oh and since your hair is curly, you shouldnt comb or brush it often. That will also cause static to frizz your hair up. Use a wide tooth comb if you do. I fingercomb only, no combs. God bless.

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

PRODUCT! use an antifrizz or a shine serum like crazy.. I like fekkai personally for curls but it is your decision. Use some product and let the curls hang naturally,

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

my girlfriend ahas curly hair she uses a shampoo and condiner made for curly hair she got it at cost cutters. also she washes her hair often witch is not good for the skin however it does mosturize it more to stop the frizz

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

humidity and striaghtening will not work. I use leave in spray conditioner scrunch and go. I often have to pull back and clip it.

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

Just let it be curly. And acctually use a curling shampoo followed with a smoothing conditioner. DO NOT blow dry or brush. use a smoothing serum and then a shine spray. The more you touch and put into your hair, the frizzier it will be and that doubles for curly hair. I would suggest everything Mattrix. Curl life shampoo ($13.95) Sleek Conditioner ($12.95) Smoothing Serum (15.95) and a protective shine spray (13.95) Good Luck.

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

Layers help your hair look better, in such a way that even when it's a bit out of place it doesn't show quite as much

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

i use mousse (any brand) and matrix switch trix gel. its expensive, about 17 dollars, but soooo worth it. it keeps my curly hair from frizzing.

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

My friends use gel. I don't have curly hair, but it's really prone to frizzing all over, and I use BIOLAGE Smoothing Serum.

You could also use olive oil which is what my sister uses, and it's really good for your hair. The only thing is you really have to know how much to use because if you use to much it's gonna be really greasy and smelly.

What are the best tips for styling curly hair in humid weather?

Don't straighten it but if it's humid it's hot. If you have ling hair then i suggest a braid or if it's short then little pigtails on each side because then it's okay to be frizzy!
