Any tips for dying my hair blue? i plan on using punky colors lagoon blue.?

I am dying my hair with punky colors lagoon blue. My hair is currently blonde. Any suggestions for dying it. Also how can I keep it from fading.

Bleach your hair first. That will let the dye soak in and give you the truest color. I suggest going to a bueaty supply store and getting the bleach and developer. I always use the strongest bleach and developer which sucks all the color out of my hair before I dye it with manic panic, punky color. Both are vegetable dyes and will last longer the more bleached out your hair is. Also you will notice that the first few days your color will bleed out, not to worry though your hair will still be a beautiful blue.

You may want to try the temporary colors to start with...often blondes will go green if the base color isn't right.

but if u dont want it to fade put lemon jucie in it and lay out in the sun for like 25 minutes that what i did with the bottem on my hair when i died them pink!!

bleach it first the color will be brighter and the dye takes better....but why not try just your ends for a month first
