What are tips for straightening my hair better?

i have wavy hair, but it's not just wavy lol- it can get really fluffy and frizzy. i have two straighteners.. one is a helen of troy and the other is a wet2straight. ive tried both and they both straighten my hair i guess, but it still comes out like poofy. i want sleek and shiny hair to wear to school and out.

I ordered a Maxiglide off of the Home Shopping Network. I love it. I have super curly hair and have never found a straightening tool that works. I received my Maxiglide on Wednesday. My hair stayed straight from Thursday to Sunday with a little touch up each morning to smooth my bed head. I promise you will love your hair if you get one. It makes your hair sleek and shiny and even in humid weather my hair stayed straight. Check it out on www.hsn.com you can watch a video of it being used

First try to blow dry it as straight as you can, then when it is dry, use the Helen of Troy straightner.. pin your hair up, then take down sections, and do it little by little. when you are finished, I find the best thing to use is a Paul Mitchell frizz control product, it might be called skinny serum or something like that.. works really well, dont use too much or your hair will look greasy, start a couple of inches away from your scalp.
