Try beauty schools. You will have your hair done by students but they are always supervised.

Here goes it. You can go to Wal-Greens and get the dye yourelf and do it. Take some foil so you don't get it on the rest of your head. Mimic what you see in a hair salon (foil highlights). With the hair cut go to Great Clips or some place like that.

Go to one of the cosmotolegy schools. My mom works and one and they have instructors there to help the students so its not like jo bob decided to cut hair and screws it up. Thats where I get mine done at
