Hair and make up tips?

hello,

i would consider that i have a long face.

how would i do my hair and make-up to draw attention away from this factor?

i've brown mid length hair (quite thick),

green eyes, and 'medium' skin (?well i'm not very pale but not tanned either)

thanks!

Side swept bangs can be very flattering for that face shape. A good length is at the chin or close to it (such as a bob), and it helps to have good body and volume (makes the face look wider rather than long).

You should avoid center parts and anything longer than shoulder length.

Eye makeup that's on the darker side also helps add width to the face.

Don't wear heavy makeup. Avoid anything dark, like dark lipstick, heavy eyeliner, or black mascara. Instead, get some shiny, light lip glosses, some bright eye shadow (in middle school I always liked golds if I wanted something really stand-out, but I'd otherwise go with a little bit of purple or green, just to darken the eyelid). Get some brown mascara and a little bit of blusher. That's really all you need.

You don't need to spend too much time on your hair. Make sure you wash it at least every other day. Braids are always cute, as are hats, ponytails, ribbons, barrettes, and clips.

But don't try to be someone you aren't. The most important thing is to learn to look in the mirror and like what you see. Don't listen to anyone at school except your friends.
