I like L'Oreal Preference. Black is a nice color, but it is very hard to get rid of.

I think it depends on your tone and overall coloring. If you have light features, Definately DO NOT go black!!! You might want to consider a dark brown, lots of black dyes have blue in them and fade to a nasty dull color. I would consider having it done professionally. I would never use and "AT HOME" dye.

After you get your highlights done, your stylist SHOULD say: "don't wash your hair until 2-3 full days." Why? Because the paint will dry off (I know. Because my dye faded when I got home) Just wear a NO HOLED shower cap and you'll be okay. I didn't say you couldn't bathe, but just avoid the hair.

L'oreal. It only costs like $5 and you can just go with your wallet/purse to Walmart or Safeway to purchase it. If used properly, you should get nice black hair. (Ask a stylist to do it for you. Unless you want to take the chances of getting black hair...)

Black hair looks harsh on allot of people.It all depends on your skin tone.If you are fair skinned I say step away from the black dye!If you have a olive or darker complexion it might look alright.Don't forget to color your brows darker too.I personally wouldn't do it.If you want your hair to be dark go for the darkest brown.It wont look so drastic

L'Oreal Preference use that it's the best and wrks just perfect. I see my mother do it and the color it comes on perfect the color blaack is my natural color. I love it and YAY u like it too yes so try that brand and it's actually a good brand. It lasts 1 month and 12 days. It is good and long lasting like for a dye color.

You might find it makes you look a little hard. Try mixing black and brown together then apply it. I use Feria multi- fauceted. Lasts at least 6 weeks. Good luck.

Loreal, it will last about 8-10 weeks even more. dont forget to always to a test on your hair before dying it ; also you have hair you might need to buy 2 or 3 dye.. gl
