Help!! any tips on bleaching hair?

i naturally have really really dark brown hair but i wanted to go blonde, so i did. but i had to keep buyin hair color from the store to finally get it how i wanted. the problem is when my roots grow in. whenever i buy more color form the store n do it, the roots are like orange i was wonderin if there was an easier way to fix this besides goin to a salon cuz i cant afford it right now

It's orange because you are not leaving it on long enough. It's not in the blonde stage when it is orange. When it is in the yellow to pale yellow stage, it's blonde.

Afterwards, you need to tone your hair with a violet based blonde to neutralize out the yellow.

You can pick up salon lighteners and toners at Sally Beauty Supply. The store rep can help you pick the right products to do it yourself at home.

do only the roots till they match or do roots till close then buy another color to tone whole head
