that might be alright to try, it wouldn't be my first choice. maybe during the winter months, it would be okay to try, but black tips will fade quickly during the heat of the summer.

if i were getting tips for dirty blonde hair, i'd go ahead and do streaks %26amp; chunks too. choose a really deep brown color, even a toffee or caramel color because the deeper undertones of your dirty blonde hair would be brought out by choosing a neutral.

i also have dirty blonde hair. What i did is put in blonde highlights, which gives it a really nice summer glow. Perfect summer look. But its 100% your decision.
