amla hair oil or aswini hair oil helps it grow. aswini makes it soft and strong but it stinks really bad 4 3 hrs after u use it, so use it at night. i used gueye shampoo and conditioner and that corrected a lot of the damage and natural dryness and frizziness of my hair. if ur serious about correcting damage dont put any heat at all, not even a blowdryer. i mean any amount of heat you use is just working against yourself, give your hair a chance to recover first. i heard its good to pour some beer through your hair before rinsing it out is good, avocados masked with overly ripe bananas (mushy and black), Dont listen to Jessica C. Homemade conditioners have less chemicals and better quality ingredients, nothing for artificial colors, no added fragrance, nothing to give it a more commercial consistency and feel, Just the good stuff, there on tons of recipes all over the net. Also, a overbrushing can give you lots of split ends and breakage, especially if your hair is already damaged. Scalp massage is important for to increase circulation, using a minty oil is good too. a tingly scalp is a good sign. take biotin and b complex

there's a ingredient in some shampoo's and conditioners, that helps it grow, but i can't remember what it's called...doesn't matter, keep brushing often and it will help. 1 or 2 times a week is just fine for the curler, it won't hurt. homemade conditioner? AVOCADO, alone, mashed up. also, for the straightening damage, use dove something repairing shampoo and conditiner, i used it and i liked it a lot
